Where you choose to make a purchase is as important as the item you are purchasing. Encore Billiards & Gameroom is a family operated retail store in the industry for over forty years. We are very knowledgeable and are here to educate and assist you through out your purchase, big or small. We’re here to answer all of your questions and to offer ideas and suggestions while we stand behind everything we sell. Here you can see it and touch it, unlike on-line companies and catalog outlets.

Encore is a year round full service game room supply and design center, our items are not just displayed at the height of a particular season.

Made In America

These days “Made In America” is a very loosely used term. In reality there are only a few truly American pool table manufacturers left. Most companies claiming to be offering merchandise that is American-made is really just warehoused by them in the United States and being distributed from there. When something is made here there is consistency in the quality of the finished product. In other words there are no surprises since it’s made in the same factory by the same people. Parts are always available when and if needed and there is value to a “brand name”. Not to mention when you purchase something made here you are keeping Americans working.

So be sure when you’re told it’s made in the United States, it really truly is.

When you purchase an item you should feel confident in knowing you paid the best price for that item and it was exactly what you were expecting. Today there are so many gimmicks to draw the consumer in and think they’re getting a low price. For example, an item that really should sell for $4895.00 could never really be marked down to $1895.00. The company would loose money if this were really the case. Do you truly believe this is really possible? How about the “Today Only” or “Factory Direct” or “For this Weekend Only” ads? What happens if you don’t get there in time, does the price go up? Did they just increase the regular price, then discount that number so you think you’ve gotten the item on sale?

Be sure you are comparing the exact same product. You know the saying, apple to apples. Is it American-made or an import? Is it solid wood or mdf? What type of wood? Is it real oak, maple or cherry or is it oak-like? Are the pockets leather or plastic? What is the quality of the cloth? Will the company assist you with future service, parts or warranty issues if needed? This all contributes to the value and the price of an item.

Free Delivery

This term should be applied when it’s referring to small items that require no assembly or that can easily be left at your curbside or front porch. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for” and that surely applies to most furniture, delicate and high ticket items that need to be shipped.
Most furniture needs to be shipped to you and will be trucked via common carrier, which is another name for tractor trailer. This is not your everyday UPS truck. Unless you pay additionally for white glove delivery service, you, the customer, will be obligated to inspect, unload and bring the items into your house and assemble them. That is what is referred to as “free” or included.

Our version of delivery just can’t be free. We take responsibility for your merchandise from the time it arrives to us, gets delivered and assembled in your home or business. Our installers are experienced, professional and take pride in what they do and we understand busy schedules so we offer convenient delivery times for our customers.

So Buyer Beware… Free is bound to cost you!
